Discovery Classes at South Walker Baptist Church are 6-week training groups designed to introduce you to the deeper topics of Christian faith in the area of theology (orthodoxy), orthopraxy, and evangelism.
For all adults and youth (grades 6-12)
the-o-logy (n.) – the study of God
orth-o-prax-y (n.) – proper practice of belief
ev-an-gel-ism (n.) – the art of proclaiming the Gospel

Harris Dickson
Associate Pastor and Youth Minister
Harris has served at South Walker Baptist since 2020. His vision for ministry is to glorify God by presenting Jesus Christ to youth so that they would accept Him as their Lord and Savior, grow continually in His grace, and serve Him in His church. Harris has a BA in Christian Ministry (2019) and an MDiv in Biblical Languages (2022), both from NOBTS.
